About KOKO

KOKO Architecture + Design is a creative partnership established by the husband and wife team of Adam Weintraub and Mishi Hosono. KOKO, founded in 2000, gives the duo the opportunity to formally combine their diverse backgrounds and extensive experience in a multi-disciplinary design forum. The craft of KOKO is centered around the the duo’s inherent love of modern design. While focused on architecture, the world of KOKO also encompasses interior design, as well as furniture, textile, and industrial design.

In additional to their substantial portfolio in residential and commercial architecture and interiors, KOKO Architecture is known as a specialist in designing children’s spaces and educational projects. This portfolio includes an eclectic range of work, including interactive museum spaces, playgrounds and libraries, toy and furniture design, interior playscapes, early childhood learning centers, and STEM and music educational facilities.

KOKO believes strongly in sharing with the community, and lectures and leads workshops both in Manhattan and internationally, including notable presentations for the Cooper Hewitt Museum, the Scandinavian House, New York Institute of Technology, and the Japan Society.
